Yes! Courtney cares for women of all reproductive stages from adolescence through menopause and beyond.
Yes! As a licensed Nurse Practitioner in Virginia Courtney can prescribe medication as needed.
Yes!  Courtney may order routine bloodwork, Pap tests, genetic testing, and other lab specimens, as needed.  They can be sent through your lab of choice to utilize insurance benefits. Additionally, she have accounts with several specialty labs for functional hormone testing.
Yes!  Telemedicine conferencing is available for Virginia residents using a secure, HIPAA privacy protected portal. For clients outside of Virginia, care must first be established in-person then follow-ups may be conducted via Telehealth.
Visits with Courtney are comprehensive, unhurried, and longer than what is typical within an insurance-based medical model. Because of this, Courtney is an out-of-network provider and does not contract rates with insurance companies. She operates on a fee-for-service system and cares for all women regardless of their insurance status. Most lab work and diagnostic testing can utilize insurance benefits. Therefore, you may use insurance benefits for most testing, but will pay out-of-pocket for your appointment. You are welcome to utilize health savings cards for any services.
Healthcare providers with advanced training look at how and why illness occurs in the body and restore health by addressing the root cause of disease, unique for each individual. As a functional medicine provider, Courtney supports women’s bodies and reverses the imbalances that have led to health problems. Each woman is unique and therefore each treatment is bio individual. Courtney aims to treat root causes, not suppress symptoms.
Courtney does not offer prenatal services at this time. Please contact the office for referrals for local midwives who would love to serve you.
